This village is merely a dot on the map (some maps) and it seems strange why it is signposted at all. Sign posts and maps seem to be confused as to which village is Gerovasa and which is Trozena.
From the Paphos to Limassol motorway take the turnoff to Mandria then proceed along the old road for about two kilometres before taking the turn to Nikoklia. Bypass Nikoklia, drive through Fasoula, bypass Mamonia, drive through Ayios Yeoryios then bypass Kithasi. When the road turns to the right and uphill take the road signposted to Gerovasa, Trozena and Dora. On this road the tarmac runs out after a while for about two kilometres. In wet conditions it can be very slippery. You should cross a complicated-looking metal bridge. Perhaps Brunel was here? Eventually, at the top of a rise, on the left you should see a shrine side-by-side with a padlocked offertory. The village lies below
Another route is to take the motorway but turn off for Kouklia. Head for Arkhimandrita then Dora. A few kilometres past Dora, Gerovasa or Trozena is signposted to the left down a tarmac road.
If you want to see the village it is probably best to park on the main road then walk down into the village because the streets are narrow and there are few places to turn around. If you wish to visit the church drive down the crazy-paved road to the river-bed then up the other side.
There is a shady bench beside the riverbed and it is possible to walk up or down river searching for wild flowers when it is not too wet. The lanes around the church also yield many wild flowers.
Depending on the route you came you can either return by that route or continue by the alternative route.
